DB and Company has been a printing and marketing company in the heart of downtown Bakersfield for over 35 years. We specialize in print, web, and digital design. We are looking for a self-driven, dedicated individual to join our team. New team member would be required to greet clients, answer phones, typeset, layout, changes, proofs and enter order data. Role is on-site part time and will run for 3 months with the potential to convert to a full-time employee



Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm



Customer service; acknowledge, smile and greet clients upon arrival/dismissal

Respond to client questions and/or concerns regarding their orders

Answering telephones

Scheduling appointments

Confirming appointments

Follow up on no shows/cancellation of appointments

Process payments via card, cash, or check

Maintain a clean and friendly lobby

At all times you will perform and undertake such other duties and responsibilities as are requested of you by the office manager

New order/client entry

Typeset, layout, send proofs, and design anything from business cards to business forms.

Professionally & efficiently use email to communicate with clients



HS Diploma or GED

Be able to efficiently use the Creative Cloud Suite

Knowledge of Suitcase Fusion

Typing speed minimum of 40 WPM

Bilingual preferred but not required

Friendly and personable

Strong communication skills

Analytical skills

Excellent organizational skills

Professionalism with great customer service skills.
